Idaho Falls High School Multi-Cultural Week

So at my school this week we are having multi-cultural week. We are celebrating our differences. Today we had a 2 1/2 hour assembly so our classes were only 35 minutes long. Woot Woot! The assembly was tons of fun we had the national anthem played by our vice principal and some band students, we had the BYU-Idaho dance group come, which was totally awesome, the idaho school of ballet, polynesian dancers, Band of Brotherhood, IFHS Acapella Chor, The black national anthem, a tribute movie, and....2 speakers: Steve Pointon and Joe McKeown. They are from Ireland,and they talked about the religious war between the catholics and the protistants that has been going on since they were young kids. These 2 speakers became friends in high school but they were the opposite religion from each other. They are now very good friends and they go around the world doing service and speaking to others. With the message to CHANGE! It was an awesome assembly my favorite part was all of the dancing groups.....especially the BYU-Idaho dance group! :]

Christmas 2010 :]

Christmas Eve is basically my favorite day of the year. This year it was especially great. We just stayed home this year with our family. First of all we had a yummy dinner: Ham, Potatoes and Gravy, Rolls, and for dessert we had Pie. It was Deelicious! Then we read the christmas story and acted it out it was lots of fun! Next, we watched a show called The Crippled Lamb..it was so cute! Then we headed off to bed to wait for Santa to come.

Christmas morning this is what I woke up to find. I got The Last Song...which I have been wanting for forever...I love that show! I also got the new David Archuleta CD...The Other Side of Down. I think I can pretty much say I'm addicted! Haha. He is one amazing singer! I got a wayy cute dress from Downeast...I got to pick it out..but shhh don't tell! It was normally a $40 dress and I got it for $7 it is soo cute! I got a neklace..and it ended up matching perfectly with my dress.

Christmas day we just hung out around the house. I watched The Last Song...and listened to my CD for like....the whole day. We had popcorn and cheese ball and my grandma's famous slush...it is so yummy! All in all christmas was probably the best ever! :]

Summer '10 :]

I can't believe summer is almost over that is so crazy! This year our ward was supposed to go to girls camp June 15-18...but like the week before they found out that Darby was pretty much flooded so they had to change girls camp to August 3-6. Daniel also got his tonsils out on June 24...according to him it wasn't that bad. On June 26 our family did the liberty walk, it's where you carry flags to a field and then they post all of them and then some...it was really cool!

On July 16 I turned 15 it was a really fun birthday!We started celebrating on Saturday because Daniel was going to be at scout camp. On Saturday we went out to dinner at Perkins..it was the best. On Sunday I got my presents. I got a bedspread and a body pillow cover. On Wednesday one of my friends came over and we watched a movie and had cake and ice cream. On July 27th my cousins from Logan came to my house and we went school shopping at a new store here called Runway Fashion Exchange it was a blast.

On August 2nd Sharalyn left for girls camp because she was a youth leader. Then on August 3rd I left...i was kinda nervous at first but i was fine. One the way to Darby the Priesthood leaders truck was making some weird noises so we pulled over and they looked at it to see what was wrong and they thought it was the oil so one of them drove back to Swan Valley to get some oil when they came back they put it in and we kept going but it was still making weird noises so we ended up pulling them all they way to Darby.On Tuesday night it was skit night and that was hilarious...as always. On Wednesday it was hike day and i hat hiking so i just signed up for the nature walk i did that and when i got back my ward talked me into going on monument which is one of the harder hikes. About halfway through the hike i felt like i couldn't breathe so i sat down and i told the leaders so one of the leaders and some of the girls stayed back with me. I am so glad that i went on that hike it was amazing!I would post pics but my computer is too slow. On the 16th me and Sharalyn left for marching band camp. It was pretty fun we learned all of the shows and we practiced all of the songs. As of right now i have one song memorized and i have 3 more to memorize.
